Student support services is designed to give students assistance and support to help make their experience at GAVC a successful one. I have been working with students at GAVC for the past six years. Prior to the Support Services program, I was a special education instructor at Morris Community High School for 21 years. Support Services is designed to provide various types of support to any student that has an IEP, along with any student who is either self- referred or teacher referred and is struggling to become successful in their GAVC class. Support options are individualized to fit student needs. Support options include counseling, study aids, study guides, proofing, organizational support, and test taking. The goal is to maximize each student's learning experiences at GAVC.
