Tanner Berg and Rob Pucel, computer applications students, from Grundy Area Vocational Center are ranked nationally in the top 10 for the Video Production competition at the Business Professionals of America (BPA) 2008 National Leadership Conference, “Find Your Fit,” that was held in Reno, NV, May 7-11. The contest consisted of creating a three to five minute public service announcement on the topic of environmental awareness. Rob and Tanner also had to present their video to a panel of judges.
Other GAVC chapter members competing in Cisco System Administration at the BPA conference were Andrew Tondini from Morris High School, John Bauman and Alex Bloom from Coal City High School. They joined over 6,000 other conference delegates from across the nation to participate in national-level business skill competitions, workshops, general sessions, and the national officer candidate campaigns and elections.
